Karuna Hospital: Founded in 1978 as a modest 10-bedded TB clinic, Karuna Hospital has since transformed into a leading medical center boasting over 100 beds and specialized departments. Located in the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh, SASSS plays a pivotal role in delivering crucial healthcare services to the indigenous population in the region
In addition to its primary mission, SASSS has also reached out to marginalized and orphaned individuals afflicted by leprosy, providing them with essential treatment and care. Through relentless dedication and round-the-clock efforts, a generation has successfully overcome this transmissible disease, allowing their children to lead lives of dignity.
Furthermore, SASSS has taken a proactive step by constructing 80 houses for individuals affected by leprosy, creating a community known as Harsha Nagar. This initiative not only offers housing but also signifies a significant stride towards improving the lives and living conditions of those impacted by leprosy.
